RESEARCH INTERESTS:  

Toxicity and behavior of heavy metals species and synthetic organic compounds in activated sludge treatment systems, impact of operating conditions on activated sludge bioflocculation and suspended solids sedimentation, use of low-cost adsorbent materials for the treatment of industrial wastewater, use of physicochemical methods for the treatment of industrial and municipal wastewater, municipal and industrial wastewater reuse.
