Introduction to Environmental Science Postgraduate
Goals In this introductory course students will acquire fundamental knowledge
concerning the functions of environmental systems and the impacts of human
activities on them. The basic goal of this course is to familiarize the students with ·
environmental systems and problems ·
the terminology used in environmental science Lectures The course will be offered via the software WebCT Vista© and must be
completed by the students before the end of the winter semester ( Students must study the textbook and the educational material
uploaded in the WebCT Vista and then answer the corresponding assessments.
Teaching assistants will be at the students' disposal to answer any
questions via the available communication tools. The course will be completed with a Final Assessment, which will take
place in Mytilini. Assessment Students must complete 11 assessments based on the textbook, before The 11 assessments and Final assessment correspond to 30% and 70% of
