Topics per Week:

Introduction to Microbiology. Growth and nutrition of microorganisms. The impact of environment in MO.  Bacteria and fungus. Microbe communities in soil and in the sea. Interaction between microbes and plants. Nitrogen fixation. The role of microbes in the agricultural soils. Decomposition in Mediterranean type ecosystems.  Laboratory exercises.
