The International Conference on Environmental
Science and Technology (CEST2017) will be held in Rhodes
Island (Greece), from 31 August to 2 September 2017.
CEST2017 is the 15th event in a
series of successful scientific meetings, which are being
organized biennially since 1989. It is the largest
environmental conference in Greece and has grown into in a
major international scientific event bringing together
over 400 delegates from 60 different countries.
The main aim of the conference is the
presentation of innovative technologies and practices to
address local and international key environmental issues.
Moreover, environmental legislation issues are presented
and proposals that could form the basis for dialogue on
national policy in areas such as waste management, climate
change, sustainable tourism, the monitoring of water
quality, energy technologies and public health. A
selection of topics for which the Scientific and Programme
Committee is particularly seeking contributions can be
Distinguished academic professionals and
scientists will participate as

For the first time in CEST history four
presentations from young researchers (2 oral and 2 poster)
will be awarded from CEST Scientific Committee. The
researchers (postgraduate students and PhD candidates)
should indicate their
candidacy along with the submission of the abstract.
CEST2017 is supported by the University of the
Aegean (Greece), together with the University of Salerno
(Italy) and the Imperial College London (UK). The main
organizer is the multi-disciplinary
(Network of Environmental Science and
Technology); an international scientific movement that has
been successfully developing for the last 29 years with
members from more than 60 countries. The conference is
