Every year, thousands of applicants show an interest in studying at the University of the Aegean. Both Greek and foreign applicants find out about the innovative programmes of the University and apply for a position in it. Because of the high demand for advanced studies, the positions are highly competitive. The Greek applicants have to have completed a six-year compulsory secondary education and to have succeeded in the Greek National Entry Exams, which are under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and take place every year.
