The project Eurowaste aims at helping European SMEs in developing skills in environmental management. This will take place by providing free e-learning material on the web. There are four partners in the project, namely the University of the Aegean (Greece),  Staffordshire University (UK), Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic) and the National University of Ireland - Cork, Cleaner Production Unit (Ireland).

The Eurowaste Project is being developed in two phases. In the first phase a research was conducted in order to explore the integration of the environmental management practices and the educational needs of the European SME’s.

The second phase includes the development of a website that provides four basic information cores:

  • Compliance with Environmental Regulations
  • Best Practices and Cost Reduction
  • External Help
  • Tailor made training materials for SME’s

The website is currently under construction but you can visit it at the following address www.envirohelp.gr
